Built for the way people actually recover.
We started Pacific Horizon because too many adults were choosing between getting real treatment and keeping their lives intact. We believe you should not have to choose.
A premier outpatient treatment experience, delivered wherever you are.
Our mission is to provide a premier virtual outpatient treatment experience for adults facing addiction, mental health conditions, or both, combining evidence-based clinical care, psychiatric services and long-term recovery support in a setting that allows clients to keep living, working and parenting while they heal.
Pacific Horizon is based in Los Angeles and serves adults nationwide. We offer a full outpatient continuum, from Partial Hospitalization to Intensive Outpatient to step-down Outpatient care, with psychiatry and family programming integrated at every level.
The gap we set out to close
Three problems kept showing up in the virtual behavioral health market. We designed our program around solving them.
Half the problem gets treated
Most virtual programs treat either mental health or substance use, with the other addressed as an add-on track. Co-occurring conditions are the norm, not the exception, so we built integrated dual-diagnosis care as our core clinical model.
Virtual care can feel unaccountable
Families, referral sources and clients themselves worry that remote treatment lacks safety and monitoring. We answer that with coordinated drug screening, structured safety planning, small groups and close psychiatric involvement.
Nobody can see the results
Few programs measure outcomes in a way anyone can trust. We built measurement-based care into the program from day one, so clients, families and referring providers can see progress objectively.
What guides every decision we make
Dignity First
Addiction and mental illness are health conditions, not moral failures. Everyone who calls us is treated with respect, from the first conversation.
Evidence Over Opinion
We use therapies with a track record in the research and we measure whether they are working for you.
Connection Is the Treatment
Small groups, a consistent therapist and involved families, because people heal in relationship.
The Long View
We plan for the year after discharge, not just the weeks in treatment. Step-down care and alumni support are built in.
